Manila, Philippines – Campaign period started but the “Flame” went on as posters and jingles had brought to public. Rallies and motorcades by the politicians opens the close match among them all.

A tight fight between Sen. Benigno “Noynoy” Aquino III and Sen. Manny Villar burgeons the strong rivalry as they flew all over the country and secure their votes among the people, spreading out the good images after the chaotic and catastrophic government 2 decades past.

Aquino, campaigning in Concepcion Tarlac, took potshots at Villar.

“We all know our opponent has the money. And there are those who say that the forces of darkness will come together,” he said in his speech. “The question is, will the force of light be overpowered?”

Sen. ‘Noynoy’ makes his name popular, thanks to his family name, but cristisms stat put the two close competitor into a bulls-eye. Analysts stressed out, Villar’s campaigning startegies overtaken Noynoy’s popularity.

Villar states, “I am spending my own money.” Proved that he grown from poverty.

One of Villar’s platforms is to reroute highways so that it passes close to his real estate developments. He said the charges are trumped up.

His tough competitor, Aquino is fighting for corruption and restoring the credibility of the judiciary and Congress. But he is also struggling to step out from the shadow of his mother Cory.

Election fraud become rampant in the Philippines, but people are hoping to overtake a refreshing start after the scandalous presidency of the Arroyo.

Over million voters are looking forward to a new and fresh Philippine President to overcome the malicious and sympathetic livelihood of the Filipinos.

Candidates shakes hands to every people they have met to assure a single vote from them. Strategies brought candidates to make Filipino doubt.

Some candidates heard Mass at churches, with one transforming his rally into a prayer gathering, re-enacting the Lenten tradition of Jesus Christ washing the feet of his disciples to illustrate his desire to be a public servant.

Historically, popular personalities from political clans, the media, sports and show business dominate the elections in the Philippines, but some analysts are seeing some positive changes.
