We told you back in April that we would be making a series of changes to the site in the week of 15th June. The purpose of this message is to give you an update on when we expect these changes to become available across the site.

As each change is launched successfully we will update this message to confirm the new functionality is available.

Free Pictures expanded to Home & Garden categories

We are expanding free picture rollout to the Home & Garden Category as well as Clothing Shoes & Accessories.

Easy Returns

In preparation for the launch of the eBay returns flow in mid-June you now have the option to customise the message that is displayed to buyers during the returns process. Please go to My eBay > My account > Site Preferences > Return Preferences to do so.

The returns flow will be launching in mid-June. You will also have the option to opt-out of the new eBay returns flow at this stage, if you prefer to use your own returns handling process.

Category Changes

You can find all details about the affected categories and changes here.

We advise you to check that your listings have a selected ?Type? and all other relevant Item specifics. If you have current listings in one of the categories where a new sub-category will be added (Boys? clothing, Girls? Clothing, Men?s Accessories, Men?s Clothing, Women?s Accessories & Women?s Clothing) they will be automatically moved into the new relevant leaf category on 15th June 2009 as long as you have selected a ?Type?.
