We told you back in April that?eBay would be making a series of changes to the site in the week of 15th June. The purpose of this message is to give you an update on when we expect these changes to become available across the site.

Some additional information on the changes:

Free Pictures expanded to Home & Garden categories
We are expanding free picture rollout to the Home & Garden Category as well as Clothing Shoes & Accessories.

UPDATE: Pictures are now free in the Clothes Shoes & Accessories and Home & Garden categories. Please manually select the boxes for the picture services to get them added to your listing. In a few days those boxes will be automatically selected for you when listing in the categories eligible for free pictures.

Easy Returns
In preparation for the launch of the eBay returns flow in mid-June you now have the option to customise the message that is displayed to buyers during the returns process. Please go to My eBay > My account > Return Preferences to do so. You will also have the option to opt-out of the new eBay returns flow at this stage, if you prefer to use your own returns handling process.

UPDATE: Due to some technical issues we took the decision to delay the eBay returns flow until we can guarantee a smooth roll out of the new product. The feature should be available within the next couple of days, and we’ll let you know when this happens. Thanks for your patience in the meantime

Mandatory Dispatch Time
UPDATE: All new listings will now be required to include how long you’ll take to send the item and a return policy. You?ll have until mid-September to update Good ?Til Cancelled listings.

Custom Item Specifics
UPDATE: Custom Items Specifics are now available in the Men?s Shoes and Women?s Shoes categories. We will continue introducing Custom Item Specifics in the Clothing, Shoes & Accessories and Home & Garden categories later in July and in most other categories by the end of the year.
