CSC and Honeywell Form Alliance to Pursue U.S. Air Force Range Integration Contract

FALLS CHURCH, Va., June 21 – CSC (NYSE: CSC) and Honeywell Technology Solutions Inc. (NYSE:HON) have established InSpace 21 LLC, a joint venture that is dedicated to providing integrated operations support to the U.S. Air Force space community. InSpace 21 is bidding on the Air Force’s upcoming Launch and Test Range System (LTRS) Integrated Support Contract (LISC). CSC has named Michael M. Maier, currently a vice president with the company, program manager of InSpace 21. He is responsible for its leadership and management.

LISC consolidates the existing operations and maintenance effort at the eastern and western launch ranges and the engineering and sustainment work at the Space and Missile Center into a single range support contract to improve efficiency and effectiveness. InSpace 21 offers extensive experience in range operations, maintenance, logistics, sustainment engineering and mission support services.

Maier is the current vice president and general manager of Computer Sciences Raytheon (CSR), a joint venture between CSC and Raytheon Technical Services Company. CSR provides range technical services under the Eastern Range Technical Services contract to the U.S. Air Force 45th Space Wing. Maier holds a Bachelor of Science in computer information systems from Rollins College and is a senior member of the Institute for Electrical and Electronics Engineers and a member of the American Meteorological Society.
