British Airways Cabin Crew Strike Details

British AirwaysStrike dates: Saturday, March 27th – Tuesday, March 30th, 2010

Cabin crew at BA will walk out on a four day strike over management-imposed cuts to service from midnight tonight (March 27th). They will stay out on strike until after midnight on Tuesday, March 30th.

During the dispute the main cabin crew base will be Bedfont FC, The Orchard, Harrow Road, TW14 8QT.  Media are welcome to attend.

At Bedfont FC there will be events taking place during the course of the four day dispute, including on Saturday an international picket as workers from Iberia join cabin crew for a Spanish picket at Heathrow Airport from 1pm.

Crew will be available over the four days to talk to the media about why they are on strike – but only on an anonymous basis.

Other pickets include: 

  • At Gatwick: cabin crew will meet at the Gatwick Support Centre, Marriot Courtyard Hotel, South Terminal 
  • At Glasgow: cabin crew will gather from 10am at Holiday Inn, Glasgow Airport 
  • At Manchester: cabin crew will gather at Bewleys Hotel.
