Michael Jackson?s star-studded memorial service is under way at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
Only 8,750 people had tickets to the service and while police were expecting crowds of 250,000 fans eager to pay their respects to the ?King of Pop?.
It is estimated that an astounding 1 billion people watched the service live around the world, the biggest audience for any event ever.
The people who participated in the memorial were: Ron Boyd (family friend), Kobe Bryant, Mariah Carey, Andrae Crouch Choir, Berry Gordy, Jennifer Hudson, Shaheen Jafargholi (finalist on Britain?s Got Talent), Magic Johnson, Martin Luther King III, Bernice A. King, John Mayer, Lionel Richie, Smokey Robinson, Rev. Al Sharpton, Brooke Shields, Pastor Lucious Smith (family friend), Usher and Stevie Wonder.
